Swatch watches may be an iconic symbol of 1980’s fashion trends, but more recently they have become a way to incorporate your most favorite works of art into your everyday wardrobe. Swatch has routinely partnered with contemporary artists since their inception in 1983. In recent years, Swatch has taken a slightly different approach and has teamed up with art institutions around the world, including MoMA, the Louvre, the Centre Pompidou, the Rijksmuseum and others.
In the most recent collection from the Swatch Art Journey, watches will feature the works of Rene Magritte, Roy Lichtenstein, Hokusai, Muhammad ibn Ahmad Al-Battûtî and Sandro Botticelli.
